Great news for all Russia fans: trips to Russia will become easier!

From January 1, 2021, it will be possible to obtain an electronic visa within four calendar days of submitting the application on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and to travel to Russia with such a visa within the next 60 days.

At the same time, the duration of the trip must not exceed 16 days. Such an e-visa will cost around $ 50; children under the age of six will be issued the e-visa free of charge. The new rules apply to countries in the European Union, China, Japan, India, Turkey and some other countries. In the future, it is possible to apply for a multi e-visas.

Currently, the e-visa can only be obtained free of charge for 8 days for trips to three regions of Russia, including the Kaliningrad region.
